Favourite Recent Coords (August - September 2025)
Welcome to my first blogpost of the Autumn season... This post is full of all the coords I wore while the weather was cooling down! My summer break includes all of September so I was lucky to see friends and wear as much Lolita as I could!
A friend and I went to the Tate Modern to see the Leigh Bowery exhibition - I had been before with my mum but this was the last day so I decided to go again (also i love Leigh Bowery!) We twinned in Black and White oldschool! My friend wore Millefeuille JSK by Baby and I wore my old Lace frill! I hadn’t worn this dress in years, and was considering selling it, but it was my first oldschool piece so I can’t part with it! My friend convinced me to get Millefeuille.. One day I hope to obtain it in pink, the cut is so flattering and I love the tiered effect with the lace! The exhibition was amazing to see again, I’d reccomend it but its finished now!

Chiffon Magazine picnic
The amazing team at Chiffon Magazine hosted a wonderful picnic which had an incredible turnout! There were probably 50 people from Lolitas, Fairy Kei, Decoras, Gyarus, cosplayers and more. It was such a fun event with great activities! I wore a full shiro coord since I fear nothing! I love my Meta trumpet sleeve op more then life itself and wanted to pair it with my new accessories from Antique Beast. My friend Ali wore a beautiful Kuro coord with this Babydoll JSK by BABY in a beautiful black velveteen, so we took lots of shiro kuro twinning photos! I love how all the photos look straight out of a GLB magazine with the rose bushes and the crunchy digicam filter. The whole picnic was such a lovely day out, the weather for the most part was nice apart from a random 15 minute long shower in which I hid under a tree...

Gosurori day in Hampstead
My friends and I had a day out in Hampstead
at a cute cafe for some drawing and tea! I decided to do an all black euro look since I haven’t worn this OP in months, possibly over a year. I paired my trumpet sleeve Meta OP with more black accessories, and white socks to break up all the black. I felt very elegant with this OP and I think the heels and hairstyle paired nicely! I also am wearing a beautiful Collar made by my friend Iris, It adds to the gothic vibe of the coord! I of course brought my La Luice which i recently discovered is the 2001 release! Me and Thalia then had a walk through Hampsead Heath and the beautiful woods for some photos.

Parade for Peace Harajuku walk!
There was a lovely event hosted by Ezen in London which was a Parade for Peace! My friends and I were asked to walk the red carpet event, there were so many amazing styles involved, we represented Jfashion! There was a mix of Gyaru, Fairy Kei, EGL, and all other styles! I wanted to have my coord be a mix of sweet, oldschool and hime gyaru. I paired my fav maple wig with a BTSSB bonnet filled with bows, I made the bow with the pearl chain inspired by La Pafait! The rest of the coord is various sweet pieces, I am surprised my pinks match this well since its a mix of brands! I ofc had to wear my favourite Meta heels, and somehow even got on a Pennyfarthing in them! Brian, who owned said Pennyfarthing was so lovely and let me have a go getting on it, it was sooo high up but definitely was my highlight of the day!

BXW oldschool coord
I hadn’t worn a super simple black and white coord in a minute, and I missed wearing this beautiful cornet JSK, so I paired it with this doll esque coord. I adore this blonde maple wig, it is the perfect length and style, I feel like a perfect doll when I wear it. I paired it with this super old Angelic Pretty headbow, or I should say just ‘Pretty’ since the tag is so old! The bonnet ironically is a 2025 AP release! I paired the rest of the coord with simple styling, I felt very Alice Doll inspired! I went out for a short walk with a friend this day who also wore bxw!

Knee drop Hime Gyaru Night
My friend Gaia and I went to a club night in London called Knee Drop, I had been dying to do hime gyaru to a club and the club night was conveniently gyaru themed! I am officially obsessed with this maple wig and bonnet duo, so my coord looks familiar haha, I’ve been getting into more gyaru styles of makeup, I love these huge lashes so much! I saw so many friends this night and the event was super fun! There was a lineup of tons of amazing female DJs too, and so many people in various jfashion styles.

Gothic Pirate coord
I put on a creative coord for lunch at a Thai place with my friend. I wanted to do something experimenral and this coord gives me pirate vibes! The mix of the subtle patterns with the striped socks and scarf make the coord much more interesting, seeing as the main colours are black and white solid pieces. This Taobao blouse is such a staple, I love the sleeves! I backcombed my hair and added one of my Antique Beast headdresses, and it balanced out the coord so well!

Arcade day with Lizzie
My friend Lizzie and I had a day playing games at the arcade, and we both wore sweet egl! I wanted to wear my new bonnet from AP and pair is with a cute all pink solid coord. I love how the bustle looks with the BTSSB heart apron! I paired the bonnet with super long extensions, which looked so cute with my dramatic eyemakeup. We took some cute photobooth photos too and got a really tasty thai iced tea this day!

Bonnet Maid Coord
I wanted to wear a similar coord to the previous one since I wanted to coord my bonnet with another sweet look! This time I changed out the apron for this AATP one and changed my skirt out to a printed one for a different vibe! I love how the short skirt and apron combo made this coord feel more like a maid inspired outfit, and this bonnet is now one of my favourite pieces! I spent this day with my friend Lyra looking round some cute shops!

Day out with Lizzie and Cal
I met up with my friends Cal and Lizzie for a fun day out, where we went to the arcade and pondered around some makeup shops! We also got sushi (peep my adorable caterpillar sushi roll) and also took some cute photos at the purikura style photo booth! We all wore different coords but all still had matching boston bags, Cal wore Atelier Pierrot Shiro and Lizzie wore bxp polka dot! I went for an all pink hime coord, a vibe which I have been experimenting with a LOT lately. I wore my big bonnet yet again but paired it with my cute devil horns for a spooky vibe...

My friend Emma and I planned on twinning in our Good Luck sets, so she wore the black and white colourway and I wore my red and white colourway! I love how our sets matched our hair colour too, I love the monochrome oldschool vibe! I went for vkei inspired hair and legwear, plus the blouse under gives it a more gothic look. Emma paired her coord with black accessories and I paired mine with white for a contrast, Our coords were such perfect opposite twins! We went out for a wonder and got some yummy matcha and hojicha and took photos on the cafe’s balcony!
