Recent Coords - May - June 2025
In this blogpost I’ll be posting some of my favourite coords of May - June 2025. I’ll be going through coord rundowns and where I went in lolita and any events I attended! I have been experimenting more with styles within oldschool, so this blogpost will be mainly oldschool EGL!
Guro Nurse Comic Con coord
On Sunday I decided to go to MCM Comic Con London. It was super last minute so I threw together an OTT esque nurse style coord. I love my Little Nurse set from Meta and I don’t wear it enough, so I knew I wanted to do a guro nurse themed coord as it is my favourite motif in EGL. I paired the set with an armband and nurse cap for more nurse motifs and added an AP bonnet just to make it even more OTT. The rocking horse shoes were not a great idea for a convention but I love how they look in the coord. I didn’t take too many photos from the con but it was super fun but soo busy. I saw so many cool cosplayers but my favourite was this Milky cosplay from ‘Coffee and TV’ by Blur (aka my favourite song by my favourite band). I hope next con I will have time to put together a cosplay!

Momoko inspired coord for a walk!
I recently acquired this 2002 BTSSB Jsk which has such momoko vibes, I knew I wanted to pair it with my black boots and some oldschool style accessories for this coord. I love this maple wig and the length of the hime cut is so perfect, I added a bonnet from AP that I’ve been wearing constantly and this cute AP headbow for some OTT vibes. I love how this coord came out and I’d love to find this JSK in pink too. I didn’t do anything particularily interesting this day, but for a trip to IKEA I wanted to put on something fun and take some photos outside this church door!

Vivienne Westwood kuro coord
I recently acquired this Vivienne Westwood ‘Sunday’ dress. I’ve been eyeing up this dress for years but when this mini version came out I knew I needed it. I decided on black and I love it paired with a skirt underneath. I added this Meta skirt under for some poof and the silhouette is so cute. I pinned the skirt up on the side and I love the blouseless princess shape I have. I wanted to add a motif so I opted for florals, these dollskill socks are so cute, they give such oldschool vibes and the floral purse matched them perfectly. I also love the silliness of the Jane Marple fuzzy shoes and for my hair I had it backcombed and put up with a raschel lace canotier for a touch of elegance. I love this coord and how it screams 1990s Westwood, I want to experiment with this dress more for sure! I went out this evening for dinner with my family and here I am walking my dog, he outshines me no matter what I wear!

Comfy coord for the
Rose Gardens
On a sunny sunday I went to the rose gardens at Regents Park. They were mostly in bloom so we went for a short picnic in the sun, which is rare to have in London! There were so many beautiful roses in bloom, but my favourite were these marbled ones with white red and pink. I wore something relatively simple and comfy, I love this MAM skirt I just recieved which has cute daisy lace, and it matches cute with this Angelic Pretty Shybear cutsew I wear constantly. I paired it with pink shoes and socks and my customised Vivienne Westwood leapord bag which I love, I added a ton of trinkets (mainly my melo themed) so it gives a super heisei retro vibe!

Floral sweet for a friends gig
A few weeks ago, my amazingly talented friend Dora had a show for her band ‘Beefcake’ ( Highly reccomend you check them out) and me and my friend Ruby went in slightly matching coords, her red op matched my hair and we both went for white accessories. I wore this handmade OP with these cute taoao sleeves attached, I loved this fabric and knew I needed a 1950s style dress to wear in lolita. The colours compliment my hair colour and I paired it with pink shoes to bring out the lighter shades of pink. It was such a lovely evening and It was an amazing event!

Late ILD picnic at Greenwich Park
It was my comm’s yearly ILD picnic at Greenwich Park, so I put on a summery almost country style sweet coord for the sunshine. It was a blistering day so I went for a short blouse and shorter socks, and I love how the coord turned out! I definitely should have brought a parasol though.. I had a blast seeing my friends and having a cute day out. Ruby was wearing full shiro and looked so cute in Hawase Doll! My friend Dora was in a cute OTT sweet coord which was so adorable!
